New Federal Minimum Wage

This legislation increases the federal minimum wage in three stages:
1) Effective July 24, the federal minimum wage will increase to $5.85 per hour.
2) Effective twelve months later, an  increase to $6.55 per hour.
3) Finally, twelve months after that,  an  increase to $7.25 per hour
